Professional IP Radio System “Voice Packet Transceiver” Mobile type MPT-100
The MPT-100 is made with various parts including the main body and a multi-function microphone.
The device is attachable on the driver’s seat and supports DC12V and DC24V power supplies. The multi-function microphone has a built-in equalizer for speaker output, and sound quality can be adjusted and made clear via low cut filtering and sensitivity control. It is packed with useful functions.

- Clear voice and sound
- The MPT-100 has a sound equalizer, so you can adjust the sound quality depending on the environment. The microphone sensitivity is also adjustable to make for clear sound when calling.
- Various calling modes
- The MPT-100 has various calling modes to support your business.
- Convenient shortcut buttons
- You can set shortcuts for functions which are used frequently such as for the calling modes or settings screen. Just press the shortcut button to make a call quickly.
- Supports 12V and 24V
- The MPT-100 supports both 12V and 24V power supplies. A DC/DC converter isn’t needed when using 24V. The device goes into low power saving mode when powered off so as to reduce battery use when the car is parked for a long time.
- Automatic power off
- When the microphone is not being used, the MPT-100 automatically turns off the power according to the time setting. The setting options are 4, 8, 12 and 24 hours.

The Voice Packet Transceiver MPT-100 “Standard package” is the set of parts used to install equipment in a vehicle.

Back of the device
There are various ports on the back of the device to connect different devices. From the left, there is the GPS antenna connector, the car navigation devices connector (2 types), the USB modules connector and the power connector.
GPS package
The GPS package is necessary when using the location management system.
Dispatcher package (3G version)
Install this package when using the Voice Packet Transceiver Mobile type in an office.
Place the main body into the Dispatcher radio rack, and the Microphone hanger on the arm.
Use the AC power cable instead of the DC power cable.
PC package
Install this software package when making calls through a computer.
The “Software license” is included to connect to the server.
Navigation linking package (mobile station)
The Navigation linking package makes the “Mobaroke” location management and “Shinshirei” taxi dispatching systems more convenient.
Just enter the destination into a computer in the office, and the navigation system inside the taxi will calculate the route.
If you’re considering using the navigation system, we recommend this linking system as well.
Please contact us if you would like to use a navigation system outside of Japan.

MPT-100 Main body
The main body of the Voice Packet Transceiver is sold separately in case of trouble.
Multi-function microphone
Used for calling other Voice Packet Transceivers. Also has an operating panel.
The microphone hanger is included.
DC power cable
Supplies power from the vehicle to the MPT-100 main body.
USB cable (200 cm)
Connects the MPT-100 main body to the communication module which is installed in the USB dongle bracket.
USB dongle bracket
Used for installing and protecting the USB dongle.
GPS antenna
Used for getting location information
Dispatcher radio rack
Needed when using the Voice Packet Transceiver in an office.
Install the microphone hanger on the arm of the rack and you can attach the multi-function microphone to the microphone hanger.
AC power cable
Supplies electric power to the MPT-100. The product in the picture is the one used in Japan.
Desktop microphone
Needed when using the MPT-100 on a desk. There is a button on the base to call.
Microphone cable
Connects the main body to other devices such as the desktop microphone when using the MPT-100 on a desk.
Volume control box
The volume controller when using the MPT-100 on a desk.
Pioneer Raku-Navi (7 inch)
A car navigation device that is used with the “Navigation linking package” (mobile station). Please contact us if you would like to use the navigation system outside of Japan.
Navigation connection cable (0.25m/1.5m)
Connects the MPT-100 main body to the car navigation system. There are 2 lengths.
MPT-100 optional products
USB dongle
Connects the MPT-100 to the mobile telephone network. A communication module is made according to the communication standard of each country.
Cigarette lighter power cable
Supplies power to the MPT-100 via the cigarette lighter socket.
MPT-100 Mounting Bracket
Used for mounting the MPT-100 to a vehicle. Installation instructions are included.
Microphone hanger
Used for hanging a multi-function microphone in a vehicle.
Speaker (PC/Terminal)
Usually sound is output from the speaker on the back of the multi-function microphone, but you can use this external speaker to get sound from a different location.
Speaker Microphone
This microphone has no numeric keypad. The Microphone hanger is included.
I/O cable
Connects the MPT-100 to external devices. It’s possible to get the statuses of the external devices via the MPT-100.
Taximeter cable
Connects a taximeter to the MPT-100. Taximeters outside of Japan are not supported.
